Jan Voerman, Jr. (1890 – 1976)

Jan Voerman, Jr. was born in 1890 in the Netherlands to Jan Voerman Sr., a prominent Dutch painter. In 1905, Voerman, Jr. made drawings for a nature album for his grandfather’s company. He attended classes at the Royal Academy of Visual Arts in The Hague and Rijkasakademie School of the Visual Arts in Amsterdam. In 1923, he started to work as a lithographer, along with his already established career as a painter, illustrator, and draftsman. Jan Voerman, Jr.’s works can be found in the collection at the Voerman Museum Hattem in Hattem, Netherlands.
